STFC (the Science and Technology Facilities Council)
is holding a cryogenics training day, with a focus on the design of
cryogenic systems, on 20th April, at Daresbury Laboratory.

IOP bursaries
A limited number of bursaries are available to student members of the Institute of
Physics Low Temperature Group to help meet the costs
of presenting papers at relevant
meetings and conferences. Bursaries of up to £250 are available; this is the total
that can be awarded to each student during the course of their PhD. A report
will be required on return from the conference.
